EEA nationals (A-8 Nationals) i.e. Nationals of Latvia, Lithuania, Poland, Chech Republic, Slovenia, Slovekia, Estonia & Hungary are required to register under Worker Registration Scheme, if they want to take employment in the UK. This restriction does not apply if they want to start business or want to be self employed.
The home office will issue worker registration certificate and worker registration card to the applicant. That confirms the applicant`s registration under WRS and also becomes a starting point of the applicant`s registration under WRS.
This restriction is only for the first 12 months` period of employment in the UK and after that they are free to take any job in the UK. The conditions that need to be met are that those 12 months must be continuous and the applicant must inform the home office every time they want to change any jobs.
